Chris Nicolet's Story:
I am grateful to have the job of watering the plants at the Miller Ecopark
sign. Originally we started out with a 5 gallon jug, but days were too hot so we
quickly had to increase our watering.
We built a watering can by taking a 27 gallon garbage can and attaching a
section of garden hose using a garden hose fitting connector to a hole we
drilled in the can. My father originally developed this design. During the
hottest and driest times, we watered morning and evening. Depending on the rain,
we sometimes water once a day. We bring the 27 gallons over to the park by
either a wagon we pull or by  driving the wagon on our  lawnmower.
I like doing this job. Thank you for the opportunity.
